Indian mandes and their “show off” attitude
If you want me to say it in our common language, it goes like this: BERLAGAK!
I was walking down the streets nearby my university with a bunch of junk foods in my hand, and as usual, I was observing around on how the other homosapiens are interacting with each other. Hey, that doesn’t mean I’m stalking at them!
All of a sudden, there was a very loud sound known to be emanating from a car’s terribly-tweaked exhaust pipe. At the same time, I had a strong instinct saying that it would CERTAINLY be a bunch of Indian guys roaming the streets with their Perodua Kancil. Guess what? I was correct! Most of the Indian mandes who could not afford to purchase an expensive car would end up buying either Perodua Kancil or Perodua Kelisa and in addition to that, only the god knows how the hell they managed to fork out a lot money to ‘build-up’ their car!
All right, It’s your car and you have the rights to modify it according to your needs. I am not denying that. But, the moment those dudes passed by the road at the side of my university, they slowed down a little. The reason? One idiot at the co-driver seat started to switch the CD to a ‘better song’ and increased the volume to the extent that the bass sucks like hell! Another two idiots at the passenger seat lowered down the car’s window at both sides and started jerking their heads outside and staring at the others with their RM10 so-called cooling glasses and dancing to the tune of the music that is being played. All the above incident happened in a split of second I would say, or to be precise, not more than 30 seconds lar!
What song was played?
GOYANG-GOYANG!
Dude, that song is old! It used to be a hit around 4 ~ 5 years back with so many Malay people addicted to that song as well. Though it is still nice to hear, but playing it in a lame car with a bunch of idiots dancing to its tune for the sake of attracting those Indian girls out there to ‘notice’ at you is a BULLSHITTED IDEA! They WILL look at you, but please take note, they would look at you as a MORON and not as what you would be dreaming about: “WOW….these guys are cool!!”.
Moreover, there are also some ‘mandes’ who would play some random ENGLISH dance/techno songs without even knowing the name of the artist of the song that is being played. But, for the sake of getting attention, they’ll just play that music loudly.
Even if a girl happened to stare at those guys, one of the guys would be so happy in such a way that:
“Macha… anthe pillai nambele pakuthu paaru…”
And another one would start to show his interest:
“Macha… naa poi anthe pillai kitte yeringgi number kekutta?”
They initiated their master-plan and they came up with their own conclusion as well. Congratulations for their great mentality!
After they reached the end of the road, too bad, they have to make a turn either to the left, straight, or to the right. Without hesitation, they would do a U-turn and the 2nd-half of the above story repeats!
Yeppe lar thirinthu poringge?

.Tamilan.Why their mindset so narrow?
Well written.I agree with this problem but don’t forget this kind of ‘Monkey Tricks’ also popular among malays. But since they are ‘write protected’ nothing will happen to them.Doesn’t matter at all.But us?
I can’t understand why this Malaysian born tamilans (only some) behave so barbaric.Look at ethnic indians in other country. How it’s possible for them to have a good mindset to excel? Why we can’t do it here?.We all know that this stupid Malaysian goverment that loves all kind of racist policy will always have plan to systematically terminate us in many ways. Then why in the world we don’t understand this and keep on behaving like a 4th class citizen?.
This kind of people are the one who make or made indian (tamilan) community look like a 4th class citizen.Because of these morons every single indian(tamilan) will deserve a bad reputation.Hope their pea brain grows a bit of consciousness or else we will back to square 1 again.Think of our leaders in ISA.
Wake up!

kalagakaran – i agree to with u bro.
makkez – i think it would be better if we discuss the solutions also
.
opps… typo error. it should be ‘ i agree with u bro’
Makkez, I think not only these ppl who play the goyang goyang song and show off in kancil or kapcai deserves bashing, there are a group of indians who thinks they are the descendants of 2pac and all the hip hop groups. These hip hop wannabes comes up with a nick infront of their name usually DJ or Mista.

@Naturetech – Well said!
@Durai – Yes bro. Nambe alungge bantha panurethule koreche ille.
Ever heard of stereotyping?? Your article is exactly what that is! Your mention very generally ‘Indians’… and it certainly seems your shallow intellect has blinded your judgment on the approximate 2 million Indians in Malaysia. Based on the minority of ‘mandes’ (as your have labeled them), how in the name of race have Indians become 4th class citizens??
You might have heard of ‘shuffle’… care to identify the race and religion of it’s major followers?
And what about the illegal immigrants we have in our country who cause havoc to society far worse than ‘goyang-goyang’ from a car radio?
So what if they’ve got a Kancil? At least they can afford a car!
So what if the car’s modified? Haven’t u wore make up or had a hair cut? That’s modifying too!!!
So what if they’re playing a song that’s 4-5 yrs old? U’re older than that and no one threw u out!!
So what if they’re dancing? They know how to have fun!
So what if their shades cost RM10? They’re being thrifty and that’s smart!
So what if they don’t know names to English songs? Music is a universal language!!
Instead of criticizing and trying to change the people around u.. learn to first change your mindset. Learn to accept people for who they are and respect everyone’s rights to practice their desires.. u’re no saint I’m sure.
@Indian and proud to be -
Instead of separating the word “Indian” and “mandes” into two different entities, please look at them as a one word entity – “Indian mandes”. I’m not sure whether you have encountered this kind of people before but if you haven’t, well, that’s too bad! For your information, I AM talking about Indians and not Orang Asli or what-so-ever. And, don’t bring up irrelevant topics such as “illegal immigrants” into this article, as I believe you would have understood the point of this article and to whom it is intended to.
Your separative questions doesn’t make any sense as initially, I linked up all those points in addition with PLAYING THE MUSIC LOUDLY. So, instead of doing your own version of questions-and-answers breakdown, please look at the bigger and inter-related picture. It is clear-cut that they are SEEKING ATTENTION, and I believe others would agree with me regarding this.
Lastly, sorry to say but I could not change my mindset like the one you have currently, where by if one guy is raping a girl in front of you, you would just salute and respect his rights as he is “practicing his desires”.
makkez sema thakku! ” makkez mande”
LOL
Lol, makkez… semme thuppe uttingge. Nanenje poi irukum..
@Indian and proud to be
Reading your comment again I realized you’ve got a point there, that is if indeed Makkez had written about Indians in general. But what he had written is about Indian Mandes wannabe, which we commonly see in the street nowadays.
Yes, I believe you should look up the meaning of stereotyping, and I believe you dance in the street with your Kancil car speakers? No?
We’re Indians too, and we’re proud to be one too, but not in the way you’re thinking…
And to answer your questions…
So what if they’ve got a Kancil? At least they can afford a car!
(Owning a Kancil is not the point…)
So what if the car’s modified? Haven’t u wore make up or had a hair
cut? That’s modifying too!!!
(Modifying it might not be wrong too…)
So what if they’re playing a song that’s 4-5 yrs old? U’re older than that and no one threw u out!!
(This is where it gets a bit funny, see brother, it’s not wrong, but it’s funny. It’s a shame,oh come on.)
So what if they’re dancing? They know how to have fun!
(Lol, they dance on the street most of the times, if this is what you call as fun.I bet you’re no better than a bagger.)
So what if their shades cost RM10? They’re being thrifty and that’s smart!
(Thrifty? By wearing RM 10 shades? Muahahahahahaha. You call them smart?)
So what if they don’t know names to English songs? Music is a universal language!!
(If you do not know something, go learn. Not trying to justify what you don’t know by giving this ‘universal’ thingy. FYI, music is a universal language is a saying, is not a fact. Please look up on your information database.)
Majulah Machanz untuk Negara!
hi guys, first of all, thats a great article you’ve written there makkez- good..
This kinda problem exist in all races, somehow we are unity in this matter, but likely, Indians tend to do it a lil bit over. I am not codemning them . Its just their way of having fun, you know… entertainment. For them, its better blasting their bass than watching tv inside the house.
Even my own friend is like that, he spent RM 6000 for the speaker alone, and he managed to get an entry in 17th annual Tuner Jam at California. Its just another hobby of him, but he doesn’t blast his speakers on road. So, it depends on people’s characteristics whether the person likes to show off or not…
Nice one from Mr.Durai.I respect that.
It seems that there are mixed response on this problem like many other problem. One thing we must remember. We are already marginalized or being marginalized in this 101 policy based country. The major group is protected by the super racist goverment while the 2nd group they help themselves and try to cut other 2 in.But we the 3rd wanna become the 4th or 5th where one day our 3rd will be taken over by pakistanis, bangla, indons because that what this stupid current goverment want to.Can’t accept it.Surf around and u will understand.
If you have a kancil and you plan to mode it according to your taste, then fine it’s your problem. If you plan to raise the volume and listen whatever song you want too, then fine it’s your problem. And so do goes for the RM 10 (if that what you belive can protect your eyes) sunglasses. But vrooming in front of school, public places, talking vulgar, killing tamil words and make tamil words as a laughing material for other races, now that’s our problem.
Think for a second. If you can’t solve small problems now,how do you expect to solve biggest problem in our society?.
That “Indian and proud to be” is a girl bro, so overa tuppe mudille.
Overa tuppenalo, she’ll accuse me (us) of being the same as those “Indian mandes”..
*sigh…*
Ohh and thanks beezkud!
im agree wt u guyz!!!!!! this things are happens and we cant stop them…..they have 2 change by themself!
Why is it bad if I haven’t crossed paths with the “single entity mandes”? Seems very contradictory to the essence of this blog don’t u think.
Hahahahaha… orang asli?? U gotta be joking! They’re not immigrants dear.. they’re MALAYSIANS! As a matter of fact (for u.. most would know I think).. they’re more native than we Indians are.
Anyway, like u said, that may irrelevant (especially since u didn’t understand the context for which it was intended). But while we’re on the topic of irrelevance, please explain how rape and loud music have found pertinence to one another. Will be quite amusing to find out!
So tell me.. why is SEEKING ATTENTION unacceptable? If u r not interested, don’t give your attention, that’s all! The fact that u’ve taken the time and effort to initiate all of this is in itself a testimony of how much ATTENTION you provide SEEKERS.
‘Practicing desires’ on the other hand is an extremely general term, for which meanings could stretch vast, far & wide. Not all desires are lawfully, morally and ethically acceptable… however, some are!! Learn the difference before an attempt to elaborate on “practicing desires”, and more importantly, before a failed attempt to quote examples.
With relevance to this topic (sorry for the deviation.. yet again), loud music, type of songs played, make of car and attire of passengers are neither lawfully, morally nor ethically disputable. The only pretext on which it can be argued is ‘individually’, but in the end, that counts for nothing does it.
Lastly, it doesn’t matter to me how many people agree with my point of view. It’s my opinion, I’m entitled to one right? So chill.. that’s all it is.. freedom of speech.. which I don’t think I should be afraid to exercise : )
None other than a Kancil owner who blast away in the street seeking attention. Kadavulehhhh
….
@Indian and proud to be -
Since when I related those natives as immigrants? U gotta be joking, dear!
Irrelevance in the sense of the question you asked; all of a sudden, you popped out with a question about those immigrants and as for the rape thing, I was justifying my example and neither have I asked you any question nor the example given was a question itself. That rape thing falls under the ‘practising desires’ category, which you have explained about it earlier.
As for the SEEKING ATTENTION, well, you can’t simply tell to people not to ‘give any attention’, as that is what we are doing in our daily lives! Nothing wrong in that, but when one is pressuring themselves to seek attention, let alone in a monkeyristic way, there lies their problem.
“Practicing desires on the other hand is an extremely general term.” Yup, you are right, that’s why you could see me giving a general kind of example, such as those of rape. If you think ‘some’ are lawfully, morally and ethically acceptable, then care to point out on how some bunch of gangsta-wannabes, who are roaming the streets with a broken-bass music by putting it loud on-purpose are at least, morally and ethically acceptable?
Don’t worry, you are free to speak here. There won’t be any ISA invoked on you.
