Google News in TAMIL

Google added a new language for their ‘Google News’ service, which happens to be my very own mother-tongue, Tamil! “It’s not every day that you get to launch a product in a more than 2,000-year-old language spoken by more than 70 million people. That’s why we’re excited to tell you that Google News is now available in Tamil. Tamil is one of the most widely-spoken languages in India, which is no mean feat considering that there are 22 official languages here”, said the Google News team. You can check it out HERE.

Dear Google, please do consider adding a “Malayalam” edition as well as I afraid in a day or two, there would be a discussion topic going on in Friendster or some other forums on “Why Google is being racisstt…?”.

      malayalees are the racists ones here. I seem to only find Malayalee groups in friendster instead of Tamil ones. even in real life, i find them to be very racist(or languagist or whatever term suitable to refer these donkeys as), their attitude often reveals their foolish selves and now google has finally put them where they belong. good job by Google Inc. USA! 2 thumbs up to you guys and this blogger for putting up the news!
