Let me tell this at the beginning of this email, Mr.Jeevanathan, my support is always there for you. It is ok if your English isn’t on par to the person who spoke to you on the phone, but at least, your moral value isn’t down to the drain as the person who spoke to you, namely, Miss Kanangambigai. Instead of her wanting to sue you or threaten you, I think you are more liable in bringing this matter to the concerned authority for the way words were lashed out at you. Mr.Jeevanathan, you have been patient throughout the conversation. Hats off. To me, it sounded more like a human trying to mimic a dog’s bark! Miss Kanangambigai, if ever this mail reaches you, please convey my appreciation to your mother who volunteered to assist Mr.Jeevanathan on how to deal with his job. She did a good job. Though she misinterpreted a little lot from the telephone conversation you exaggerated, I wouldn’t blame her, because she was listening only from your side. In fact, her demands from 4 hours to 1 hour, that is a matter that only Astro Technical Support can repair and estimate of when the service will be available and you can’t hold a Customer Service Personnel for that. But at least she had a better comprehension of moral values. She was kind enough to help someone she doesn’t know, but I wonder why she didn’t provide you a little lesson on Moral values…. As for you, Miss Kanangambigai, I don’t comprehend what is it you have against a staff or a customer service person. No doubt you are paying, but just to remind you, majority Malaysians are subscribing Astro, and let me be frank, I have faced numerous problems with Astro Service too. You are not the only one, and to remind you once again, you are not the only one who is paying to Astro! Having an Indian name, you didn’t want to speak Tamil, oh why, you find it a disgrace? Let me tell you, it is a disgrace, not just for Indians but also to the society to have someone like you, who doesn’t know how to speak in the first place. Maybe your English is good, but being a PR, I am sure you mother knows good moral value, get some lessons from her! And yes, the way you spoke to you mother was also beyond limits. I would like to Highlight some things for you ( Indianponnu ). Every single cens that we are paying still a value. It’s our hard work and all of want it to be spent in a good way.
First of all, there is nothing wrong with that Customer ( Miss Kanangambigai ) because she is jusking what happened to her Astro connection which she is paying every month withour failure.
We as a customer only can contact the Customer Service Department to get our problem solved. Am i Rigth Miss Indianponnu.
This Guy ( Mr.Jeevanathan ) should not talked to her like that or put any customer in Silent for a long time. Just tell who wont get angry.

Hi all, my names Danie D from Singapore. Well, I might not be Malaysian, and this might not exactly be my business, but my girlfriend works as a customer service officer too, and she has had her share of bad customers. So here is my 5 cents worth.
The guy is just a customer service officer, his job is to make the right calls to the appropriate department so that the problem can be solved. It was completely unfair that he had to absorb such verbal abuse and stress for a mistake he didn’t commit. Well, that is the problem with youngsters these days, like the girl. They behave as if the world revolves around them. The issue isn’t weather the customer is a girl, or an Indian girl for that matter; An individual from any walk of life should never carry themselves in such a way.
If it were me to experience such a problem, my objective to call would be to solve the problem. I’d call, relay my problem, thank the customer service officer for helping me, and follow up to get my problem solved. However, it seems that in the case of this mentally unstable customer, her objective was to vent her frustrations on somebody, and solving her problem was secondary.
Its sad that the outcome of this might be the officer loosing his job. I think that the officer was competent enough. He is a customer service officer, not an English teacher. So he need not speak in an American accent nor use special words. Furthermore, he was surprisingly patient throughout the ordeal. If he lost his job, I think ASTRO had lost one fantastic customer service officer for the sake of a snobbish and arrogant customer.
Well, I think the customer KANANGAMBIGAI needs medical help!! She needs to go for a brain scan, and also anger management classes. Perhaps she needs a psyciatrist too, I think she is dillusional and thinks she is a huge Bollywood star. As for her mum, seems like a nice aunty, but she got to get her tongue checked out. Hi all, my names Danie D from Singapore. Well, I might not be Malaysian, and this might not exactly be my business, but my girlfriend works as a customer service officer too, and she has had her share of bad customers. So here is my 5 cents worth.
The guy is just a customer service officer, his job is to make the right calls to the appropriate department so that the problem can be solved. It was completely unfair that he had to absorb such verbal abuse and stress for a mistake he didn’t commit. Well, that is the problem with youngsters these days, like the girl. They behave as if the world revolves around them. The issue isn’t weather the customer is a girl, or an Indian girl for that matter; An individual from any walk of life should never carry themselves in such a way.
If it were me to experience such a problem, my objective to call would be to solve the problem. I’d call, relay my problem, thank the customer service officer for helping me, and follow up to get my problem solved. However, it seems that in the case of this mentally unstable customer, her objective was to vent her frustrations on somebody, and solving her problem was secondary.
Its sad that the outcome of this might be the officer loosing his job. I think that the officer was competent enough. He is a customer service officer, not an English teacher. So he need not speak in an American accent nor use special words. Furthermore, he was surprisingly patient throughout the ordeal. If he lost his job, I think ASTRO had lost one fantastic customer service officer for the sake of a snobbish and arrogant customer.
Well, I think the customer KANANGAMBIGAI needs medical help!! She needs to go for a brain scan, and also anger management classes. Perhaps she needs a psyciatrist too, I think she is dillusional and thinks she is a huge Bollywood star. As for her mum, seems like a nice aunty, but she got to get her tongue checked out. The FAKE American accent really sucks!! Gd’day to all of you..
