I don’t have much information about the show and its hosts/contestants but one thing for sure, It is not in Tamil or Malayalam. The following clip could be best presumed as what *might* happen when you are out with your super-modern-clubbing-hot-sexy-peter-akka girlfriend and both of you happened to argue in the public. Possibilities are there that she *might* bravely utter the F-word to you without taking into account the people that are surrounding you and to further add some salt into the wound, you shall be expecting a sudden-slap as well.
Moral value: Never fall for girls easily just because they are very hot, sexy, english-speaking and go to clubs often because you would never know what awaits you at the back. Oh and as usual, hatred comments by some Bangsar clubbing chicks are most welcomed!

Equal is the keyword here. In average, a man’s slap is more forceful than a woman’s. This sort of attitude, both by men and women are not to be encouraged. Especially in the Indian community, which is well known for its tidak apa attitude towards slapping women and children.
Additionally, Newton third law postulates “Reaction” in terms of Force, not deed.
In this scenario, both the man and the woman are at fault. Period.

A woman slaps a man. The man slaps the woman back. A bunch of people applaud and support the man slapping the woman. The applause and support juiced up some people with chauvinistic (and uncivilized) tendencies who think it is alright to retaliate by raping the woman.

I believe that majority of my readers are civilised homosapiens and they would know how to differentiate between right and wrong. Every postings of mine reflects what I have in mind and I would never ever expect everyone to agree with me, nor do I want to influence all of them.
Talking about stereotyping, you might wanna check out some girls’ Friendster profiles who have just broke-up with their boyfriends and their shoutout would at least, have the following: “GUYS SUCKK!! LOVE SUCKS!!”. But a few months later, they would be with a new guy. If I am to tell her and other similar girls that she is “capable of this sad miasma that is prevalent in our Indian society” (referring to her shoutout), then it would be a never-ending-continuous-ongoing-story. You know I like your blog. I even laugh reading your thoughts on Indian boys and girls. But I did get an impression that if not you, quite a number of Indian men tend to have some sort of strong reservation against English speaking, clubbing “chicks”. Please correct me if I am wrong…
I do not blame you. Tamil and Hindi movies/shows tend to overly represent women who wear Western clothing and speak English as the ultra-bitch. Then comes our Tamil speaking “God fearing” hero who slogs for his poor mother day and night, who one day gets in the path of this western clothed-English speaking woman (usually she will be in a car). She will insult and bitch at him for at least another half and hour. Then BANG! She gets slapped by the hero (or worse, almost raped) and wtf…falls in love with this God-fearing-mother-loving-Tamil-speaking-woman-basher. If the movie does not follow this path, it will take another well worn path; this time the western-clothed-English-speaking-sexy but bitchy-woman will deliberately get in the way between a chudithar or saree clad God fearing Tamil speaking uthami, and her equally opposite male.
So if I were to take the liberty to rearrange your words under a video of a Tamil hero slapping a woman:

Again, my whole grouse - for the want of a better word - is the general vibes I get from the posts here. ( I am really convinced that the whole thing is so rigged). For me, the attitude most Asian men have (and I too am careful here, I am using the word “most”, perhaps I should even change that to “some”) vis-a-vis Asian women ( I really don’t want to start a gender debate; this is my view) is a miasma. No matter how well-educated our men are, no matter how open-minded they show themselves to be to other women of other races, they always practise a different standard where their women are concerned. My take on this issue is this: It doesn’t matter whether guy slaps girl, girl slaps guy, guy abuses girl, girl abuses guy etc.. all that is wrong. Period.
This problem is not gender based. One gender is not superior than the other, and in return not demeaning than the other. Hell we all can’t live without the other gender.
Not all girls who speak English and go clubbing are “bad”, and the same applies to guys i.e. common labels are players and drunkards. And certainly their reluctance to speak their native language in a club does not mean they are bitches/players. I agree some (regardless of gender) are wanna-be’s and hypocrites, but not all of them.
As for Friendster-crazy people, there are people from BOTH genders who are hypocrites. So it doesn’t limit to females only. Like I said, this problem is not gender-based.
And oh by the way I showed the above program to my housemate who is from Delhi and he said that this is a relatively new program, and his take was that the whole incident was rigged to boost viewers base.

Of course, agree with you there - some of the comments here were so funny and asinine that my friends and I were howling with laughter too. What made the situation even funnier was we all guessed that it was rigged (something like the so-called spat between Vijay Adhiraj and Simran) and yet it brought out latent prejudice, imbecility, judgemental views..

Saw the clip and went through all the comments. it is funny to see how some people can talk so intelligently yet so unintelligently.. how some people can still strive to proof they are right even deep inside they know they are wrong..

discriminative and hypocritical. she failed to think that men too
have feelings,angers,pain, pride and etc.. if she can’t take it when
a man slap her, why she did the same thing? isit not hypocritical

side?.. yes a man’s slap is stronger yet does a women’s slap feels
like a baby slapping?.. there are womens who can slap harder
than some men.. If a women slaps because of loosing her temper,
why is it a fault if a man reacts the same way? can’t a man loose
his temper as well? from what point of view are the women
arguing it’s wrong? does fighting for equal rights only for women?
even an animal attacks back when it is being harmed..
not every women thinks the same.. some ladies will agree on the
guys act.. and why is that so?.. because being a woman

so women should stop being hypocritical and stop clinging to old

break her EGO that instant.. slapping back does not have to mean
the guys EGO is stronger. It is just an unintentional act telling the
lady to give and take respect. And it is also a way to tell her and
other’s around, “don’t take advantage of my patience & calmness”..
You have to be quiet when you have to and you have to retaliate
when you have to! Stop pretending and faking!

I just wonder and can’t agree wit some of the comments over here. Why don’t the girls and the guys respect each other and be nice. We human being should admit that we are lack of certain morality and we should learn to improve it. What i see in that video is totally rubish. Of course is a man is provoked, he won’t keep silent and just went away.So what if she is a woman, She should not start slapping that guy at the first moment. That is a good lesson that she must learn by getting a slap at the first place. This is called reinforcement.
And for that guy, I don’t encourage him to fight but when it comes to protect himself from being attacked, he should give a kick to protect himself. Even cats can scratch you if you disturb it. We are human. We are not born to get kicked or slapped by everybody. For all guys and girls out there. No mater who u r . Respect others and you will get respected too.
