If “Malaysia” was “Indiansia”..
Before I write any further, I would like to say this: Living without internet access is worst compared to living without any foods! The previous statement may sound too bullshit to be true but I could not find any other good thing to be compared with. I’m not sure if my constant readers are still here as I noticed the page views of my blog as well as the daily unique visitors have dropped tremendously and I also hope that some did not concluded that Makkez has been kidnapped by some Malayalees “ran away”! Well, here I am now!
A lot of headlines paved its way for the past weeks especially the notorious one being the ISA detention of three people and I don’t think I have to elaborate about it any further as a lot of blogs made a good coverage about that issue. Today, I am going to pen down one of my mind-boggling insights about one thing that have always brainstormed my mind for the past few years.
Let me share it with all of you: What will happen if the majority of the citizens in this country are us, the Indians? And the third biggest race would be Malays while Chinese would remain the same, as the 2nd largest citizen in Malaysia?
We have always demanded this and that, requested for this and that, as well as seeking equality amongst all races. In fact, we have our own lands, temples, schools, organization, MPs, ministers, newspapers and even our very own channels and radio stations. Well, that is a good thing, and I am happy about it. No complains. But, imagine if we happened to twist-and-turn the whole thing 180º and put it like this:
Malaysia (Indiansia) racial breakdown:
1) Indians
2) Chinese
3) Malays
4) Lain-lain
Got what I meant? Indians are the majority while the Malays are the minority in this case. I am not causing any racial disharmony here nor am I belittling the mentality of Malaysian Indians, but I would love to know what we (or our fellow Malaysian Indians) would do when the “minorities” demand things such as:
- “Our” own land
- Don’t demolish our ‘little-little’ mosques
- Give quota / intake for “other races” as well (Assuming that TAFE and AIMST are exclusively for Indians)
- “Other races” are demanding for MIC to be abolished and stop talking about “Indians unity” but instead, focus more on “Malaysian unity”
- One of the top Malaysian Indian leaders uttered something which may cause uneasiness for “other races” and they are demanding him to be detained under ISA.
- “Other races” are demanding that for every state, one person from their race should be elected as the deputy Menteri Besar.
Taking into account our (Malaysian Indians) mentality, our attitude, our ego, our understanding, our belief as well as our proudness, do you think that WE ARE THAT DAMN KIND-HEARTED in fulfilling all their demands and requests?
For example No.2 above, do you think that we could expect some of our people going around, putting banners like “Ithu yengge naadu”? For example No.3, do you think that we could expect some of our teenagers marching towards M.Kulasegaran for his purported suggestion that “TAFE and AIMST should open its intake for other races as well” press statement? For example No.4, do you think that we could expect some of the top Indians leaders going around and saying things like “WTF they care? This is between my country and my people…!“? For example No.5, do you think that our purported Prime Minister Dato’ Samy Vellu would give answers like “Athu chinne visiom than… Nambe allu thanne….” or “Paruvale, poge-poge seriya airum….“? For the last example, I bet most of “our people” would say this: Ithu konjum overa ille?
Putting ourselves into their position and looking at other races as ‘pendatang’, do you think that we, the Malaysian Indians, are that damn kind-hearted?

if Indians were the majority race:
1. There wouldnt be ANY complains from other minorities because we are the most tolerant people (thanks to Hinduism, and MAYBE Sikhism) when dealing with others.
2. Singapore wouldn’t have left
3. Sabah and S’wak may not have been part of ‘Indiansia’
Despite all these, i reckon tht ‘Indiansia’ would be like a war ground. Why? because although we do not fight with other races, we have a different hobby, yes! WE LOVE TO FIGHT AMONG OURSELVES! Punjabis, Tamilan , malayalees, telegus and our ceylonese friends will be squabbling at every corner for every petty thing.
Even India is still struggling to keep her Indian people united, thus i believe ‘Indiansia’ would never happen, or even if it does, it would become one’s greatest nightmare. Not only do we have to take care of all the other races, we have to behave ourselves as well.
But one thing’s certain with ‘Indiansia’, i can happily wake up in the morning, have a walk to the nearest restaurant, and bet Thosai, Idli and Bru coffee would be up on its menu. Yummie!
to the truth..
hell yeah
… we definately have a great feeling when waking up in the morning…
Makkez…., next to be expected are
1. every street name will be having these in the middle “reddy, nair, kaur, rao, singh, ayer, rayur, gounder. (again being a racist internally)
2 malay school will not be exist at all (maybe indonesians will be there). Infact, malays will be indonesians.
3. We would not be sending a gay to the space for the sake of sight seing and having teh tarik and roti canai for experiment.
4. Samivelu would be living in the jungle hiding from those got cheated from maica case.
5. major news on the paper will be reporting the assault cases by indian among themselfs. mostyly on karat kaingals (area mande)
6. there would be 1001 political parties and flags like in india.
7. corruption at record high
8. you might see live grenage explode at your own house if your country progress to far ahead from indonesia (like india pakistan border).
9. country top death contributor is caused by high consumptions of alcohols (internal damge) or accidents/fights cause by it.
its very hard to imagine how positive the Indiansia would be, but its very easy to imagine it in negative way.. it gives me the creeps imagining it.
p/s: power at the wrong hands is a as good as disaster. Not all indians can be mahatma Ghandi or Abdul Kalam. a wrong choise, you might have another samivelu pulling your legs.
Not to miss #10.. makkez will be RPK for indians …
No matter what you say Indians are still the best. We can do anything we want, if we put our hearts to it. We have strong IQ and CQ but EQ than konjum idikithu. We only need a bit of tuning cause the majority of Indians tend to be emotional. Idea nalla than iruke, anal reality avumanae than teriyillea. Indians don’t like to have many children. So if you want this to be reality start having more children. Let’s start Wawasan Indiansia – Satu keluarga dua belas orang anak. COMPULSARY. Eppadi okva?
Nice thought..do we be that kind hearted?
According to chan about the street name, don’t forget the caste system that the some Indian love to practice. There might be quota system for Telugus, Malayalees, Tamilans etc in Parlimen. More likely, we could be another clone of India however India still might be better than Indiansia.
Referring to ‘the-truth;, Singapore didn’t withdraw from the Malaysia idea but was kicked. It was quite ugly history though. You can find such books about true history of Malaysia outside Malaysia obviously.
one thing is for sure… people would be learning more about their mother tongue, on how to read and write, not only to speak.
Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, whatever it may be, the current level of reading and writing literacy is deplorable. How many of Indians nowadays can read and write in their mother tongue?
PS: not kutuking anyone la… I can read and write Tamil, but only after I had to take my own initiative to learn it since I was from a sekolah kebangsaan.
k3sh,
“Referring to ‘the-truth;, Singapore didn’t withdraw from the Malaysia idea but was kicked. It was quite ugly history though. You can find such books about true history of Malaysia outside Malaysia obviously.”
S’pore was kicked because Tunku at that time felt Lee Kuan Yew was inciting racial issues esp. regarding the Malays and he wanted to rule Malaysia together with TAR which was totally unacceptable from Tunku’s point of view. Its in your SPM text books, you should have paid more attention in class or studied harder!
As Indians, we would never abandon any other race, thus NO ONE would have any reason to go against us, so thats why i said S’pore would still be in Malaysia. I never said they withdrew…..
@Kav
“PS: not kutuking anyone la… I can read and write Tamil, but only after I had to take my own initiative to learn it since I was from a sekolah kebangsaan.”
congrats that you do know how to speak AND WRITE in Tamil. I guess i was in a similar situation as you…
Welcome back Partner.
It’s been some time.
I’m not sure whether I’m supporting or contradicting with your article but I think if we were the one on top , means No 1 race, we would play up the same role that is played by the Malays now.
Take an example , India, with only Indians there, they’ve divided themself into so many groups, caste, and others. Fighting amongst each other.
We, if we were the majority, will not fight with anyone, means with Malays or Chinese, but end up fighting with our own Indians . After all, Indians only fight with Indians.
Many will say we will be doing this, fare better than them and so on, which I would agree 100%, but somehow when there arise demand for equality by other minorities, we would be doing the same.
I somehow agree with the name though, although it sounds similar to Indonesia.
Valge Makkez.
@the-truth..
haha, it isn’t about me study harder or what. to tell the truth history was favorite subject. well since you talking about the great text books right let me tell what happened actually.
that’s the tits and bits i know. the book is banned from entering malaysia.
by the way, I wonder why suddenly Hang Tuah history erased from the school textbooks
@the truth – You got that right brother! We love to fight among ourselves and I don’t think I have to mention which particular ethnic loves to do that….
@chan – Haha, yeah bro! Organisations such as Persatuan Malayalee Indiansia, Persatuan Telugu Indiansia and Persatuan Tamil Indiansia would play a major role in determining which street gets a ‘good name’, taking into account the NAIR, RAO and PILLAI that are yet to be emphasized. RPK for Indians? Bro, inthe ISA vilayattu ellam naa varule bro….
@Mithiri – Idea nalla than irukke… Aanal satu keluarge dua belas anak than konjum overa irukke… Selle perru rendu vechikitte tangge mudille nu solurangge… =D
@k3sh – Quota system in parliament? Haha… Yea bro, it will happen…
@KaV – Yea bro, our mother-tongue(s) would be highly prioritised and we could even expect schools such as SJK(Malayalam) and SJK(Telugu) to pave its way….
@Durai – Thanks for the welcome bro. Ama bro, Indians would only fight with Indians and the reason to fight would definitely be a stupid one! After all, Indians would only fight among themselves for a stupid reason!
Welcome back makkez.. I thought you were hidden for a few weeks from us to celebrate Onam festival.

If Indians were the majority race; the country will be perform well in the developing, technologies and education. Im very sure, Indiansia will be generate a lot of talented people and im sure will be known by all around world. We can see a lot of younger leadership. I do not more worry about my future.
Every morning have peaceful life.
If Malaysia was Indiansia…
Politics,peoples welfare:
Education, especially perfomance of university:at least ten universities will be ranked as World Top 50,bcoz we won’t ask ‘special quotas’ in education and we have backbone, muahahahahahahahahahaha
Samy Velu as the PM???? OMFG.
On a serious note, if Indians happen to be the largest community in Malaysia, we shouldn’t have any race-based policies, never mind caste. I mean, all of us know how hard it is being a minority in this country, so anyone in their right mind will not want this to happen to others.
For a start:
1) No official religion, which would also mean no prayers should be shown on tv, never mind 5 times. Your religion is your choice. And its not compulsory that if you’re an Indian you must be Hindu.
2) No NEP-like policies. All races should be treated equally, which would also mean university results solely based on results.
3) PM should be elected through voting by the members of the whole coalition, and not just by the biggest party in that coalition, and each PM will not be allowed more than one term in office.
4) Political parties can be based upon any ideology, except race and religion based. This will prevent the election of the PM based on the same race/religion.
5) Government contracts are to be given out through an open tender system or first come basis.
6) Political parties will not be allowed to have their own investment/education arms. These will be taken over by existing government departments, so that the whole public will be able to enjoy. This is to prevent fraudulent attempts such as the infamous MAIKA shares.
LOL I am exhausted. Anything else I forgot?
makkezzz….vanthetaaya vanthutaaya…
good to see you back bro..
nice article but my imagination couldnt digest the fact if samy is PM…
providing there is a turn out where majority are Indians.
:s
Well said Makkez!
What is good for the goose is good for the gander!
Actually we are all part of a very old civilization:
KUMARI KANDAM / LEMURIA!
I am putting together the material & will be posting it soon,
if I am not put away/sent on a holiday, before then!
Only to say this for now:
MALAYA comes from the words MALAI{MOUNTAINS} & UR{LAND}
from ancient times this Bumi{Land} was known as the Land of the Mountains.
BUJANG is Dragon in ancient language – BUJANG VALLEY is/was the VALLEY of THE DRAGONS!
Same with BUMI { LAND} & PUTRA { PRINCE }!!!???
Chiao!
jeyapalantsmahesan@blogspot.com
@Sweety – Hidden due to Onam festival arh? Hehe! Well, our youngsters would be well-known and they would be more keen in showing off their inner-hidden-talents without any restriction or fear, which is a good thing!
@Indians rocks – There are possibilities of having some ‘special quotas’ bro, not involving other races but within our very own Indian ethnics! It all depends on who owns the particular university and who runs it.
@sactyr – Although I do agree with you bro in general, but at one point, some Indians would even be thinking like this: “They should feel how we felt and this is the time to let them feel on how is it like to be discriminated and marginalised!”. As for your points, I ditto your first point bro, as that is what all of us, or even some “other races” would be hoping for: Freedom of choosing our religion.
@rujjcoomarh – Hehe, thanks for the warm welcome bro! You see lar bro, one day SV WILL become a PM………..
…. Kanavule!
@Jeyapalan.T.S.Mahesan – Thanks for the valuable piece of information, Mr.Jeya. I didn’t knew that Bujang means dragon in the ancient language! Ohh, as for the word BUMIPUTERA, we would never encounter anything about that in our History text books. Why? Because we are living in Malaysia, “Truly Asia”!
Noooo!!!! Not Samiveloooooo as the PM …. I beg u guys…
i rather live in a minority race rather being majority ethnic which still ruled by SV. Its the worst nightmare a person should not have.
