October’s ASTRO Magazine - Weird!

Previously, whenever Hari Raya and Deepavali fall on the same month, the cover page of ASTRO’s magazine would usually depict an Indian woman and a Malay guy with a “kuthu vilakku” and some “ketupats” bordering the cover page of the said magazine. Furthermore, some highlights of Hari Raya programmes and even some Deepavali programmes would be included in a tiny little portion at the upper or below corner of the magazine. But this time, it is totally different! Check out the following image:

Not even a single sighting of “Hari Raya” festival indication besides the wordings in the box. Did ’someone’ made it on purpose? Anyway, this not-so-useless useless post was made due to my weird thought pertaining to this magazine and I am not justifying anything here nor am I stereotyping. Cheers!

      I think this is becouse every indian house got astro….and very few natan have astro (my personal view)……

      i thinks the cover page designer of Astro forgot that , there is Hari Raya at beginning of the month ,
      Should we discuss about this with Ramseh Studio , haha .

      Deepavali is the big event to Indian. Im very sure, the majority of the astro customer are Indian .
      Y the didnt have nice cover page with the sign of festival. Our deepavali on 27 Oct rite ? When i look thru the cover page only its showing like “ Valentine day “ which bold the word with red color “ all for love “ of the main story of the movie !!!! .. :grin:

      ASTRO magazine has a Malay edition as well, the Astrozine is published in Chinese, Malay and English..so the malay version would have all the raya promo I guess.

      I don’t know why much priority is given to tamil movie actor & actresses.Didn’t they get any good lamp picture that resembles our auspicious festival of light?Forget about natans.who cares about them.
      Only Indians would print actor&actresses pictures on Deepavali card &etc.Have you seen any Jackie Chan’s pictures on Chinese New Year card,or Jalaludin Hassan’s(sorry I can’t remember any handsome hero face, :lol: )?Why Indians are so fascinated with these tamil movie hero&heroes?What are they,are they founders of Deepavali,or jumped from heaven?What are so special about them?

      Well,for the astroview cover page,I suggest to put any God’s picture(can put Perumal’s picture of Dasaavatharam).This is Purattasi month what,Perumal will bless us.Indianukku deiva bakti koodum,natanukku kannum vairum eriyum,eppadi?Wowwwww :cool: :razz: :wink: :smile: :lol:

      the magazines will be different according to our race and package we chose. makkez pls check out with ur malay neighbours who have astro… just for verification.
