Should more PC games be based on Indian movies?

FX Labs is set to launch Ghajini -The Game for PC on 28th December. Based on the recently released Bollywood movie Ghajini, the game is touted to be India’s first 3D PC game. View the trailer of Ghajini – The Game and read a synopsis of it here.
Developed by FX Labs, the trailers of Ghajini – The Game has Max Payne-like gameplay integrated into a Manhunt-like environment in a Grand Theft Auto-like style layout. Stay tuned for more on the game. The producers obviously hope it will be a big success since it is linked to a Bollywood flick starring top actors.

They should have put Surya as the main character instead of Aamir Khan. Well, It’s not that I prefer Surya just for the sake of him being a Tamil actor but candidly, his appearance in the Tamil version of Ghajini was splendid.
Anyway, kudos to the team for making the first ever 3D game based on an Indian movie. As a result of this, I hereby demand games based on the following movies:
- Dasavatharam – The Game
- Sivaji The Boss – The Game
- Billa – The Game
Two movies-convert-games which I believe would not even need a single cheat code would be Kuruvi – The Game and Narasimma – The Game. Come on, just hit a single key on the keyboard to jump from on top of a building to the railway track located far away opposite the building, and another hit on a single key on the keyboard to ensure the main character (assuming Vijayakanth in Narasimma – The Game) counter-attacks every single attack that were lashed at him, including a current shock.

u do know Ghajini was a rip-off of an english film “memento”…and even the tamil ghajini was shit compared to memento
@Guy – Of course I know. But if I am to talk on games based on English movies, there are a lot of them. For now, this post is limited to the Indian/Tamil film industry.

narasimha – indias’ second batallion, one man army!!!!
ya , i pesonally prefer more indian movie base PC Games . Reason :
Big market , Indians from all around the world and India Itself . Many imagine their self as some heroes , now they get the opportunity to be one virtually through this games , ……
wuakakakaka.. I just simply love vijayakanth’s Narasimha…The best ever ‘cartoon’ produced in India. TNB should employ him. At least, he can supply us electricity with his mind..kekekeke..lol..
I dont really play games that so often. And I have PS2 at home..Beli ..main 3 hari..pastu parking tepi..

We live in an age of knowledge. Thus, I propose educational games. 2 great new games are releasing soon. Let’s all learn how to speak properly with Perarasu’s Punch Dialogue Mastermind. And not to forget T.Rajendar’s Amma Thanggachi Paasam Potti to learn how to value sisters and mothers.
Bonus disc: Srikanth Deva’s Let’s All Compose Crappy Beats For Songs – The New Music Game available in Wii…..
@inba – An auto racing game? Wow, I gotta try that… =D
@townguy – If that’s the case, then there would be a lot competitions on “who should be picked as the main character for a particular game” in the Tamil movie industry…
@Vivek – Wonderful idea bro! I’ll write a recommendation letter to TNB about this.. =P
@Durai – Haha.. Then we should keep our fingers crossed for games such as “Undressing Nayanthara – The Game”… =D
@Steve – Yea, a big salute to them!

@To all – Happy new year!!
Pariah tamil movie made into a pc game? What a disaster!!!!!!!!.
Though Ghajini the Game may be the first PC game based on a movie, it is definitely not the first PC game from India. There was this game called Bhaghat Singh many years ago and the game was on par with some of the Western ones.
Rip off? I would say inspired…not a rip off coz Memento was different. Anyone who have watched Memento would know that the movie runs backwards. We have a scene which runs for 10 minutes and the next scene would be what happened before that 10 minutes and so on.
Never knew they’d release a game for a hindi movie. It definitely won’t be release here in Canada.
@ the first comment, almost every movie is a rip-off of a hollywood one
