Malayaleez in Facebook
From the success of my previous two articles which were Omnekutty, will you marry me? and Ooops, Malayalees did it again!, here comes another follow-up of our Malayalee brothers. Let me present to you the Facebook version of our “ethnicist Malayalees” found in those previous two articles and their regular topic as usual, which is, the relationship between a Malayalee and a non-Malayalee.
I expect no lengthy comments or overloaded comments for this post as I know, many of you would be tired and sick of their behavior and their mentality, that the Tamilans, Malayalees, Telugus etc should NOT marry each other and the melting pot concept within the Malaysian Indian community should NOT be encouraged. On the other hand, I came across another group called “Malaysian Malayalees” in Facebook and there too, was a topic regarding mix-marriages. I was delighted to read some of the comments posted over there as they realise, people like those “ethnicist Malayalees” are causing unwanted troubles and they are not looking at each other as yet another human being but instead, segregating them based on their ethnic and caste. Sigh.
Having said that, I look forward to retiring from writing anything further about those “ethnicist Malayalees” as this would be a never ending story, especially when I love to keep on stalking their e-discussions.

Being one of the biggest fan of Malayalees ‘reconstruction’ and part of M1 team which is paving a better future for certain Malayalees, I would like to wish to marry one of the Malayalee chicks, if anyone(Manje Thunni) is willing to come forward.
From that point onwards, I would analyze problems that they’re facing and what is making them think the way they’re doing now. I’m willing to put forward my life for better development of Malayalees.

–> true man! i felt ony the youngsters kecoh about this issue. yesterday i went to one of my teachers house, she is pure tamilan and her husband pure malayalee. But, they living very happy life with 3 kids and with mother-in-law and father in law. It is proved that nothing wrong to married anyone as long they(husband-wife) have sink between them.
i would say. i nvr ever see a maamanar maamiyar so friendly like them.

the last statement in the discussion,by the animal named SAMRAT would read,

This line speaks volumes and is a clear proof that Malayalees are the biggest double-headed snakes in the Indian community. I am sorry if you are a malayalee whom sincerely mixes around well with ‘other’ Indians and you happen to be reading this, but i have to say this anyway, i have seen first hand the attitude of Malayalees around me, and yes, they’re one of the greatest actors/pretenders/ hypocrites in front of you, pretending to be your friend, and once you’ve turned away, forums like this come up.
Unless they’re gay, i shall assume that when they say “we’re loosing our own kind” they’re probably referring to the women. So as Shiva-Ji asked,” I am waiting to see who can come up with a good explanation why.” I shall answer that question wholeheartedly:

Malayalam was derived from ancient Tamil in the 6th century, of which Modern Tamil was also derived. An alternative theory proposes a split in more ancient times. Nevertheless, around eighty percent of Malayalam words are taken from Sanskrit.
Before Malayalam came into being, Old Tamil was used in literature and courts of a region called Tamilakam, a famous example being Silappatikaram. While Dravidian Tamil used to be the ruling language of the Chera Dynasty[9] Ai and Pandyan kingdoms. Sanskrit/Prakrit derived Buddhist Pali Language and the Jain Kalpasutra were know to Keralites from 500 BC. The Grantha Bhasha or Sanskrit mixed Tamil which was written in Grantha Script (Arya Ezhuthu) was used by Aryan Brahmins residing in Tamil areas.
The Dravidian component of Malayalam-Tamil has words similar to ancient Sangam Literature. During the Later Chera dynasty the inscriptions included some lines from Grantha Bhasha in Grantha Script along with Malayalam-Tamil written in Vattezhuttu. A form of Grantha Bhasha, a Sanskrit mixed Tamil closely resembling the later Malayalam was used to write books by Brahmins from Tulunadu residing in Kerala in the second Millenium. The oldest literature works in Malayalam, distinct from the Tamil tradition, is dated certainly to the 11th century, perhaps to the 9th century. . For cultural purposes Malayalam and Sanskrit formed a language known as Manipravalam, where both languages were used in an alternating style.
Malayalam is the only among the major Dravidian languages without diglossia. This means, that the Malayalam which is spoken doesn’t differ from the written variant, while the Kannada and Tamil languages use a classical type for the latter.

Well,yes im a malayalee and im not replying to the post as a Malayalee but as an Indian so i expect you

Im sure everyone of us knows the Punjabi,Sikh commuity very well.They are the minorities in our country.If you see
in their community,they practice and prefer marrying their own kinds.They are different from all the Hindus.Most of them
dont like Indians and i think we are aware of that.How come there’s no posting about them ? How come theres no issues of
them pretending being the high profile Hindus?

There are some Tamil families who insist their children not have inter caste marriages too.So basically everyone is the same.I believe we have
better issues to talk and argue not something like these.
Before we pin point something about others,make sure we are aware of our very own flaws. U dont have to be a Tamilan,Telugu,Gujerati or Malayalee
but just learn to be an Indian.
