The first part of the video shows our YB Gobalakrishnan (PKR – Padang Serai) giving a detailed explanation on the usage of the ill-defined ‘okkaru/okkru‘ Tamil word, in which, if the word is pronounced differently, it leads to a disaster! On the second half of the video, he explains that “Okkarungge” means “to sit”, but I find that particular scene to be funny and it seems like a “Tamil teaching session” for fellow reporters!

These are some of the feedbacks received from fellow commentators in my earlier article “The ‘Friendster’ized Malaysian Indians!” and to date, there are still some disputes going on with one idiot making a baseless accusation saying that “Only Tamils would do like that and not Malayalees, Telugus or other etnics“. Moron!

Allright, back to our topic. Now, as being a male myself, I would now try my level best to describe how the males or to be specific, the Malaysian Indian teenage boys are misusing using “Friendster” as a tool for them to communicate and interact with their e-friends!

Once again, their primary photo(s) come(s) into mind! While we could see some girls uploading images of Asin and/or Trisha and self-proclaiming them to be ‘them’ (huh?), we could also see some teenage boys uploading some rip-off images of Surya, Vijay and even 50 Cent and to be on the safer side, they would rather leave the caption box blank or some might take the initiative to write there “girls…..its me!!” or “my new look….. ok va???“. In addition, there would be an additional picture of any female celebrities with the caption “my savadi sareke….hehehe!”.

I know, it is your account and you have the sole authority to do whatever shit you want but for GOD’s SAKE, please read the BLOODY RULES! Please be matured and grow up, lah!

Surprisingly, out of 10, about 4 boys would be putting their real pictures. And, the posing? It is like they are going for an audition and they would “dress to kill”, with their XXXXXL t-shirts, bling-blings, NY cap, sunglasses and etc (I’m not condemning!). And, the caption? “western rulezzzz…” or “rappers inc….“. These types of guys are those who love to impersonate those westerners and they believe, girls would be attracted to these kind of guys (really?) and hence, their tremendous posing styles. Girls, please confirm this! Ohh and not forgetting, some pictures of their bikes and/or cars with the caption “my baby…“. Friendster’s photo policy never stated anything about uploading pictures of vehicles so for time being, you guys are safe! (And I’m not condemning you guys for this!)

He came, he rocked, he went and then he came again, he rocked again and he went again! Well, I’m talking about the current fame Dhilip Varman, the one who blasted our local Tamil audio industry with his “Uyirai Tholaithen” smashing hit!

The song became an instant hit, with many Indians teenagers (adults too!) attracted to the melody of the song, as well as its lyrics! Not forgetting, the vocal of the singer himself, which is said to be up to par with singers from Tamil film industry in India! Seriously, our brother here deserves a spot to sing in Tamil movies soon!

He came again with “Kanavellam“, yet another smashing hit later on!

Previously, he, together with Sashi, were in a band called “Rogkwave”, in which they have produced an album named “Naveenam (Chapter 2)”. Besides that, Rogkwave has also produced albums such as Selva’s Gift, Selva’s Hope, Sangeeth, 541 and so on!

Their songs are nice to hear, but not many people would have heard all, or at least, most of their songs, excluding those ‘famous’ ones! Here’s a preview of one of Rogkwave’s old song titled Kathal Vethanai taken from the album Naveenam.
